My home desktop machine runs Windows Vista, and I want to access it using LogMeIn(Remote Desktop) from other locations. I want to be able to leave the computer off when I do not need to remotely access it, to save on energy.
I have heard of features such as wake-on-lan, but am unsure if this is a requirement of my motherboard, wireless router, and/or a software requirement. My motherboard is: Intel DG33TL.
What can I do to keep from leaving my machine on 24/7 incase I want to remote in? Witricity: a witric one!
