i want to transfer electricity wirelessly by help of tesla coil.
i make a tesla coil transmitter with an input (220v)and output (15kv 30mA) transformer 50Hz. and 15 capacitors of 0.1uF 1000v connected in series.
so in order to make the receiver should i use the same specs in case of stepping down the voltage i use the same type of transformer but connect it in reverse as compared to the transmitter???? Witricity powered: witric power.

So from what I understand, the transformers is two seperate windings of coil on seperate cores, a primary winding and a secondary, depending on whether its a step down or up, will determine the ratio of windings relative to eachother, So connect power to the primary winding and you can get energy transfer from the first to the secondary winding. does this have to be done at a certain frequency for it to transfer power to the secondary winidng, and it has to be AC from what I understand, can somebody explain this to me more in detail.
