do we need any router for that..or just the wirelss stick USB is fine..

Okay for some reason my router wasnt working so I reset the router from the button in the back and it reset and everything but now the router cant provide any wireless internet. I can access internet through the router with a cable but it doesnt transmit the signal wirelessly and also I try to go to routerlogin.com/.net and it redirects me to netgear.com support.

Hello. I've connected my ps3 to my actiontec gt704wg router via wireless connection.
but, every time i go online from my ps3, my router's wireless and internet lights to from solid bright green to dim, disappearing green. what could this mean? is my p23 draining my router's energy.
Also, when i'm online from my laptop while online from the ps3, both work fine, same speed, and no flaws. what could be wrong? Witricity: go witric!
my parents usually turn my router off at night and back on in the morning but I am getting a ps3 for xmas so I want to plug the router into a different outlet so it will not get shut off at night so i can play in the middle of the night with out going downstairs to turn my router on if i feel like it. if i leave the router on 24/7 will my parents be able to notice a difference in our electricity bill and if so, how much will it be? howdy. i gotz big problem, i have new laptop and my wireless adapter broke. Now i cant connect my laptop to the internet cuz my router is downstairs and i am upstairs. my friend has this one thing... have no idea what its called and he wont tell me cuz he is being a jerk but you plug it into the wall and then you take that cable for internet and u plug it in your laptop then into that thing and that thing and then it connects to the internet from anywhere. Its like a small box and u plug it in one of those regular electricity slots not your laptop.
when i first got them and set it up everything was great but ever since i unplugged it one day to save energy cuase i wasn't using it know the cable modem keeps loosing the internet connection a bunch of times randomly and daily it's become a normal thing and the router i can't get running normally at all what can i do? A friend is in a shared house in which the phone socket and router is on another floor, and while a signal can sometimes be received, it isn't strong enough to last for more than a few seconds.
I'm guessing the options are: 1. Something to boost the signal's strength, 2: Something to relay the signal to reach further, or 3: Something which routes the signal through the electricity supply (ethernet?).
