Ps3 and Router help? easy 10 points?
Hello. I've connected my ps3 to my actiontec gt704wg router via wireless connection.
but, every time i go online from my ps3, my router's wireless and internet lights to from solid bright green to dim, disappearing green. what could this mean? is my p23 draining my router's energy.
Also, when i'm online from my laptop while online from the ps3, both work fine, same speed, and no flaws. what could be wrong? Witricity: go witric!
my parents usually turn my router off at night and back on in the morning but I am getting a ps3 for xmas so I want to plug the router into a different outlet so it will not get shut off at night so i can play in the middle of the night with out going downstairs to turn my router on if i feel like it. if i leave the router on 24/7 will my parents be able to notice a difference in our electricity bill and if so, how much will it be? So i've used my wireless for more than 2 months,then suddendly one they there was an electric problem in my house so when the power went back the plug from wireless to electricity wasn't working,so i bought a new one then when i get back home i plugged my modem to my wireless for internet and the PS3 says that it couldn't detect any acces point,then i unplugged the internet from wireless and it found the acces point(wireless)and seriously this thing GOT ME SO
F U C K I N G PISSED!!!
How can i fix this annoying problem?

Hi, I recently bought a ps3, mostly for online gaming. But then when I tried to connect to the router( specified above), it kept giving me a error. Then I tried it with a wire, over electricity, directly out of my modem. This did work but our electricity was very slow and unreliable, and stopt downloading evry once in a while, making the ps3 stop. I gave up the wire and tried to make the wireless work.
I tried the following things:
-I entered and forwarded the port numbers sites said i needed: failed.
-Reseting the modem: failed.
-Messing around with the routers setup: failed.
Okay So Im 19 years old and moved in with my boyfriend about a year ago. Before i moved in I was fine, i always ate home cooked foods barely ever ate any fast food and my house was new and i only had one computer and it was in the basement.(I know that part doesnt seem to make sense but it will eventually) Well Now im living with my boyfriend and for the past 4 years my boyfriend has been complaining about how his head feels numb & tingles and he use to describe it as electricity in his head and i use to always laugh at him & rub his head & never really pay any attention to it.

if you turn your computer off but leave the wireless modem switched on will the ps3 still be able to use the net, or do you have to have the pc on? seems like a lot of electricity to use and I don't really want the pc on all the time.

sometimes when i turn my ps3 on the fuse blows out in the room that has the computer and router and the electricity just stops working in that room. i have a belkin wireless g plus mimo router and is there anyway to stop the ps3 from blowing out the fuse ever again? Witricity: go witric!
