just wondering how energy(electricity), could be transfered wirelessly. the only idea ive come up with is that you could use the photoelectric effect with either efficient lasers or an extremely pinpointed beam of light. the light would hit whatever material creates the strongest current in the circuit possible and you could varry the intensity and wavelength to increase current in the circuit. like for high current you could use intense hard x-rays or gamma rays. can anyone give me and answers as to whether this has been done or whether it could work?
